Manica is one of the industry’s most experienced leaders with over 16 years of experience in business process improvements and advisory engagements in engineering, management field, process improvement (quality) in manufacturing, oil & gas, and banking industries.

He has had extensive experience handling process improvement, cost saving projects and facilitating rapid improvement events. He has helped develop and improve continuous process improvement systems, and create new infrastructures to fulfil the needs of fast growing companies.

He has a broad knowledge base of statistical analysis and process improvement skills, training and experienced in organisational transformation. Manica has a proven track record of identifying, prioritising and delivering significant and sustainable improvements across a broad range of business processes and functions.

Internationally, Manica has led many high profile assignments, which include global lead consultant for specific processes within a multi-national company. His forte lays both in consultancy as well as operations.  Manica attained his Lean Six Sigma training credentials from Six Sigma Academy in the Netherlands to provide Green Belt and Black Belt training in Shell. As a trainer and facilitator, Manica has conducted training sessions and workshops in The Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Chennai and Kuala Lumpur. He has coached over 250 GB/BB Certification Programs and has successfully trained and nurtured over 1000 YB, GB & BB (2,000+hours of training conducted) in the last 8 years, generating feedback score of 4.65+/5..

Manica has held roles as VP-Head of Operational Excellence (Process reengineering, Automation & Continue improvement), Section Head – Engineering; Industrialization Unit / Process engineering and Global lead Lean six-sigma consultant for specific process where he was able to apply the core Lean six-sigma philosophies, coach and trainer.

Azryl started out as a Business Development Executive in Knowledge Group of Companies, a Corporate Training Provider based in Kuala Lumpur. His role at the time was to participate in conducting Training Needs Analysis, Sales & Marketing Strategies and Conference Workshop coordination. He has helped to coordinate trainings for blue chip clientele from various industries which includes banking, manufacturing, Telco and construction.

He has had extensive experience in the Service Industry; namely with one of Southeast Asia’s largest Media & Satellite TV/Radio provider, ASTRO. He was an engineer in the Broadcast Operations & Engineering Division, where he participated and was hand picked for process improvement projects for 4 years. He later moved into a leadership/supervisory and project management role for 5 years; coaching, managing and leading IT/process improvement projects.

Kavita has 6 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma deployment, training and coaching, she has started her Continuous Improvement Journey with Shell Finance Operation Continuous Improvement Team, she was a trainer, coach and in house consultant supporting Finance Operation Processes in centres in KL, Manila, Chennai, Glasgow and Krakow.

She has a very hands on experiences handling process improvement and cost saving projects, facilitating Yellow Belt and Green Belt Trainings, Value Stream Workshops for Rapid Improvements and workshops to identify improvement opportunities. She has helped business operation process in building their project and talent pipeline in their pursuit of Continuous Improvement which has enable them to attain their annual business goals.

She has a good knowledge of the DMAIC methodology and tools which enable her to be an effective trainer and coach. Kavita has a proven records of coaching close to 120 projects in span of 5 years of her stay in Shell Finance Operation and has conducted good numbers of Yellow Belt and Green Belt Training. She has a good exposure of various types of improvement projects from both Lean and Six Sigma Methodology.

Her current profile as trainer and coach with Lean Partner has given her the opportunity to widen her exposure of training and coaching improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma Methodology in other industries like banking, supply chain and shared services. Vijay has more than 10 years of experience in business process improvements and advisory engagements in engineering, management field, process improvement (quality) in manufacturing and banking industries.

He spearheads implementation on many aspects of process improvement including developing SOPs, Kaizen facilitator, training, mentoring, coaching and create new structures to achieve the needs of dynamic companies.

Vijay’s activities are characterized by his knowledge, his energetic and his ability to understand the varied needs of people and organizations and find collaborative solutions that work. Vijay’s main strength is his ability to build enthusiasm and understanding. This results in genuine, the ability to resolve difficult issues effectively.

He has run training workshops on 5S, uniformity, and defect reduction and production improvement during his tenure in manufacturing industry. He is currently taking charge of preparing training programs to simulate work situations, developing tools to assist participants in project completion and also coaching participants to complete Lean Six Sigma projects. He incorporates his experience as a trainer to coach them to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Jessie Goh

Business Development Director


As a Business Development Director, Jessie oversees the Business Development Department and reports
directly to the CEO of Lean Partner. Our Business Development Director has extensive experience working
with diverse cultures and in multinational environments. She has gained exposure from different countries
whilst engaging customers from various backgrounds and industries. Jessie also has experience in expanding
many brands across the country for the organizations. She has dealt with and possesses strong consumer
behaviour understanding, being an essential to drive sales especially with regards to the industry’s sensitivity
to recession.

Being a Business Development Director, Jessie has experience dealing with Board of Directors, top management, C-level and management level people. She is currently liaising with Lean Partner in strategizing development planning of the organization and meeting department’s target. Her portfolio with Lean Partner includes developing business strategy to increase the revenue of the organization. She has experiences in identifying potential new clients and account management. Her forte in marketing is especially in following up with new business opportunities and setting up meetings in driving forward the organisation’s strategy in meeting it’s target. Her skillsets also includes planning, preparation and presentations skills essential to securing potential clients.

Jessie is currently involved in communicating new product developments to prospective clients effectively. She also oversees the development of marketing strategy and plans for the department. She is excellent in Report writing skills. She is currently also engaged in conducting researches pertaining to the needs of other companies and their procurement team. Further to that, Jessie is involved in the planning and overseeing of new marketing initiatives. She proactively innovates to increase revenue of the organization in holistic manner.

Sivanesan Kupusamy

Consultant & Co-Trainer


K.Sivanesan being a graduate from the University of Tenaga Nasional and in possession of a Bachelors in
Mechanical Engineering, started out as a Project Engineer at major projects across the heart of city. He also
possesses experience in other industries namely Oil & Gas, specialising in HVAC. His forte has been especially
in coordination of projects. In true appreciation of the benefits of Lean Six Sigma, he obtained his Green Belt
qualification and is currently in the midst of managing a project within Lean Partner itself.

Being enthusiastic and extremely passionate about Software & Website Development, he leads the Digital
Management projects in Lean Partner. Striving to do the best, in tandem with Lean Partner’s vision, K.Sivanesan incorporates aspects of Lean Six Sigma methodologies within the tasks assigned to him.

Shamni Sathasivam

Consultant & Co-Trainer


Starting out in her early years, Shamni had joined Lean Partner as a Process Consultant / Assistant Trainer, upon completing her Black Belt in Lean six Sigma. Standing firm in the Corporate training field today, Shamni has had her roots in the legal fraternity and was initially a member of the Malaysian Bar Council. She was awarded her LLB Honours from the reputable University of London. Thereafter, pursued the Certificate in Legal Practice and had her 9 month pupillage completed under the respectable Dato’ David Gurupatham. Throughout the pupillage, she had the privilege of experiencing both civil and criminal practice. During this period of pupillage Shamni had also acquired a Diploma in International Arbitration.

At Lean Partner, as a Lean six Sigma Black Belt practitioner, she assists in the coordination and trainings, and
does Lean Six Sigma improvement projects. She brings with her the wealth of knowledge gained during her
legal studies, to oversee the Risk Management and advises on matters pertaining to the legal framework of
Lean Partner. Shamni aspires to one day bring the practice Lean six Sigma.
